Cancelling Before vs After Production Starts | Valenna

Cancelling Before Production vs After Production Starts

Cancellation is easiest before processing starts. Once production begins, cancellation may be impossible, or a larger processing deduction may apply.

๐Ÿ’ธ What it costs, by stage

StagePay Now orderManual bank transfer
Before processing5% deduction, covering non-refundable merchant feesNo fee. Full refund
After processing startsIf still possible, a processing fee of up to 50%Same
Completed or dispatchedCannot be cancelled

Pay Now means card, instant EFT or any other payment processed through our online gateway. "Processed" means the order has entered production, printing, packaging or preparation for dispatch.

โ„น๏ธ Good to know: the fee after processing is not automatically 50%. It depends on how far production has progressed, and covers materials and work already done. Contact support immediately.

๐Ÿ” Example

You paid R1,000 with a card and cancel before the order is processed: the 5% deduction is R50, so R950 is refunded. If you paid by manual bank transfer, the full R1,000 is refunded.

๐Ÿ”ง A fault is not a cancellation

A manufacturing error or transit damage claim is not treated as a change-of-mind cancellation. See problem with your order.

โ“ Frequently asked questions
