If grey tones must be preserved, convert the artwork to greyscale before you submit it. Do not leave the file in colour and assume every grey on screen will convert as intended.
๐ Order instructions
- Convert the final notebook artwork to greyscale.
- Select the required black-and-white printing option.
- In the Notes field on the Notebook Printing Service page, state that the greyscale file should be printed on the colour printer to preserve the grey tones.
- Check that the file you upload is the final greyscale version.
๐ Note: this routing is based on the explicit note for that order. It is not automatic for every black-and-white job.
๐ What the Notes field is for
The Notes field is for print instructions and special requests. It is not a request for us to edit or convert your design.
๐ก Unsure how the tones will reproduce?
Raise a support ticket before ordering, or order a physical sample first. See notebook samples.
