How to Prepare a Custom Deskpad PDF

Supply a complete, print-ready PDF whose page count matches the number of deskpad sheets you select. We print the file as supplied, with one exception: large solid backgrounds over writing areas are removed by default (see the FAQ below).

๐Ÿ“„ Repeated or different pages

  • If every sheet uses the same layout, duplicate that page until the PDF reaches the selected sheet count.
  • If layouts differ (for example monthly, weekly or campaign pages), place every design in the exact printing order.

๐Ÿ”ข Match the order options

FieldWhat it controls
Sheet / page countHow many pages are in each deskpad. The PDF must match it
QuantityHow many finished deskpads are produced. It does not replace the pages needed inside the PDF

๐Ÿ“ Size and production notes

  • Prepare artwork at the actual finished size.
  • Bespoke dimensions above A5 and below A4 can be trimmed; anything above A5 is billed at the A4 rate.
  • Add the exact dimensions and any binding or print instruction in the product Notes field before adding the item to the cart.
  • Review page order, spelling, margins, bleed and resolution before upload. See bleed and safe area explained.
โš ๏ธ Warning: we do not automatically duplicate, edit or rearrange pages. A one-page PDF for a 25-sheet deskpad will not be repeated for you.

โ“ Frequently asked questions

My PDF has fewer pages than the sheet count. What happens?

Make the PDF match the selected count before uploading. The count you order and the pages you supply must agree.

Can every sheet be different?

Yes. Place each design in the order it must print.

Will my solid background be printed?

Not by default. Solid backgrounds are automatically stripped when a design is added to the printing queue, because toner over large areas leaves a glossy surface that is hard to write on. To keep yours, add a note in the Notes section asking the workshop to retain it. See why solid backgrounds are removed.
