No. The notebook page count you select when ordering refers to the printed interior pages only, not the covers.
🧮 How pages are counted
- A printed page is one printed side.
- For a double-sided interior, 100 printed pages = 50 physical sheets.
- The selected page count must match the interior artwork you supply.
📑 Why the cover pages are still in your PDF
The full print-ready notebook PDF also includes the cover pages:
- Page 1: outside front cover.
- Page 2: inside front cover. Leave it blank for a single-sided cover; artwork here prints inside the front cover.
- Then all interior pages, finishing with the back-cover pages required by your cover option.
⚠️ Warning: do not subtract the cover pages in your PDF from the interior page count. Also do not use this notebook calculation for a notepad sheet count.
💡 Example
You want 100 interior pages. Select 100 as the page count. Your PDF will contain the cover pages plus those 100 interior pages. Capacity limits are 400 pages on 80gsm and 200 on 120gsm; see 80gsm vs 120gsm.
