Choose glossy when photographs, bold graphics and stronger colour contrast are the priority. Choose matte when the flyer must be easy to read under bright light or people need to write on it.
| Paper | Best for |
|---|---|
| Glossy 100gsm | Economical, colourful handouts and photographs |
| Glossy 130gsm | Premium brochures and menus with strong colour and more body |
| Matte 100gsm | Lightweight, low-glare notices and information sheets |
| Matte 120gsm | Programmes, forms and presentations that people may write on |
| Matte 160gsm | Menus, certificates and durable handouts. Feels closer to light card |
It is not intended as a writing surface. Choose matte if handwriting matters.
Paper weight does not change colour reproduction, but the finish (gloss or matte) changes how colour looks. See matte vs glossy printed colour.
