Sticker Paper, Vinyl and Label Sheets Compared | Valenna

Printable Sticker Paper vs Printable Vinyl

Printable sticker paper is paper-based and suits indoor labels and packaging. Printable vinyl is plastic-based and generally more flexible and moisture-resistant. Both of our stocked sticker papers use permanent adhesive.

⚠️ Warning: do not assume every vinyl is waterproof or removable. Water resistance depends on the exact vinyl, the ink or toner, edge exposure and any laminate. Choose media made for your printer type and test adhesion and durability on the intended surface.

🔁 Permanent vs repositionable

Repositionable media is designed to be moved, while permanent adhesive bonds firmly and may damage the sticker or surface if removed. Our currently stocked craft sticker paper and vinyl sticker paper use permanent adhesive. They are not equivalents to repositionable stock, so do not use them where stickers must be moved repeatedly, such as activity-book pieces. If removability is essential, ask support before ordering.

📐 Custom A4 label sheets

Pre-cut A4 label sheets can be produced on request, but there is no universal default layout. Before ordering, confirm:

  • The finished label width and height and the number of labels per sheet.
  • Gaps, margins, corner shape and cut specification.
  • Quantity and printer requirements.

Your artwork must match the approved layout. A template for one supplier's sheet may not align with another's, even with the same label count. Raise a ticket with the dimensions and layout before ordering.
