Custom notebook price and capacity depend on the cover, interior paper, printed-page count, binding and protective options you choose. This page explains each choice and points to the detailed guide.

📘 Cover options

The separate 1000gsm glossy triplex board in the cardstock range is raw board stock, not the 1200gsm rigid notebook cover. Full comparison: cover boards.

📄 Interior paper and page capacity

• 80gsm: up to 400 printed pages.
• 120gsm: up to 200 printed pages.

The printable page count in your file must match the count you select when ordering. Pages may repeat or carry different designs; we print the supplied PDF as arranged. See 80gsm vs 120gsm.

🔗 Binding

Custom printed notebooks use wire binding. White and black wire are always available; gold and rose gold only sometimes, depending on stock.

To check gold wire, ask the workshop and tell us the cover thickness and the number of interior pages. More in wire binding options.

📑 Ribbons, inserts and tabs

• Ribbon dividers are temporarily unavailable as a standard option. They are not discontinued and may be offered on request, so ask before ordering.
• Die-cut tabs are no longer offered.
• Plain inserts can be supplied on request.

🛡️ Cover protection

Gloss or matte lamination is available. Alternatively you can add a PVC cover in clear or frosted finish. Lamination and PVC covers are different protective options. See cover finishes and protective options.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Does the cover thickness change the page capacity?

Capacity is set by the interior paper: 400 printed pages on 80gsm, 200 on 120gsm.

Can I print the inside of the cover?

Whether inner covers are printed is one of the choices you make on the product page. See cover, inner page and back cover order.
