Wire binding lets a custom notebook lie flat and turn through 360 degrees. White and black wire are always available. Gold and rose gold are offered only sometimes, depending on stock.

↔️ Long edge or short edge
For binding on the short edge instead of the long edge, add that instruction to the Notebook Printing Service Notes field before adding the product to the cart. See top-bound vs side-bound notebooks.
🔁 Replacement binding
- Wire binding is permanent, not refillable. A removed wire cannot be reused.
- Replacement covers are supplied unpunched by default. If punching is needed, state the matching 2:1 or 3:1 pitch in Notes and use a suitable new wire element.
⚠️ Warning: custom notebooks use wire binding. Case-bound, wrapped-cover, perfect-bound and staple-bound styles are not currently offered. We are working on some of them, and a style that is not on the product page is not yet available.
