Order cover-only printing when you need a printed front-and-back cover pair for pages you already have, a notebook you will bind yourself, or a physical colour proof. It does not include interior pages or wire binding. Order a complete custom notebook when we must print the cover, print the interior and produce the bound notebook.

🎨 Use it as a physical colour proof

Screen colour can differ from print, so a physical cover is the reliable way to judge colour, material and finish before ordering complete notebooks. Order it as a paid sample:

  1. Supply the front and back artwork in one PDF at the finished size.
  2. Choose the board, finish and protection you want to assess.
  3. Order the quantity you need.
💡 Tip: order the proof on the exact board and finish you plan to use for the full run. The same artwork looks different on card, board, gloss and matte. Previous customers may sometimes receive a free sample at our discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

🔧 Replacing a cover

Wire binding is permanent, so replacing a cover needs a new suitable wire. The old wire cannot be reused. See preparing cover holes and binding.
