Shipping Information, Delivery Times & Order Collection

Valenna dispatches orders from Cape Town and delivers to addresses and supported collection points within South Africa. Your fee depends on the delivery method and the total weight of the order, and checkout always shows the exact amount for your cart.

⏱️ Processing time vs delivery time

  • Processing time: the time we need to print, make, finish and pack your order. It depends on the products, quantities and finishing in your cart. Glued products such as notepads need an extra 1 to 2 days for the glue to dry.
  • Delivery time: starts after the courier has collected the parcel. It does not include production time, and there are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays.

🚀 Urgent order? Expedited Processing

When your cart qualifies, checkout shows an optional Expedited Processing choice under the shipping methods. It lets the order skip the normal production queue.

  • As a guide, an urgent order of around 50 notebooks may be processed the same day, and larger quantities (even 100) can sometimes be arranged. This is an example, not a fixed limit or a guarantee.
  • Checkout shows the actual lead time for your cart and, where possible, offers same-day dispatch.

Amounts are in rand (ZAR) and are those shown at checkout. Transit time is counted in working days after the courier has collected the parcel.

ℹ️ How the fee is calculated: it is based on the combined weight of everything in your cart, rounded up to the next whole kilogram (2.4 kg is charged as 3 kg). For Priority over 2 kg, the R56 rate applies to the whole order weight. For Economy, ECO+ and PUDO Locker, the per-kg rate applies only to kilograms above 2 kg. You pay one shipping fee per order, however many items it contains. As a guide, a 100-page A5 notebook or planner weighs about 0.15 kg.

🎁 Free shipping

Orders over R1,000 show a Free shipping option at checkout (estimated transit 4–7 working days), and PUDO Locker delivery is also free. Time-limited free-shipping promotions are announced on the Valenna website.

📝 Note: shipping fees were confirmed against checkout on 21 September 2026 and can change. The amount shown at checkout for your address and cart is the amount you pay.

📦 Courier and PUDO delivery

Choose an available method at checkout. After dispatch, use the courier tracking information in your shipping notification; see how to track your order. A PUDO point or locker is a delivery destination, not a way to collect from our workshop. You can upgrade your shipping method before the order has shipped, but once it is in transit there is very little anyone can do to speed it up.

🏡 Can I collect my order from the workshop?

No. Our workshop is on a working farm, and we no longer allow collections from the workshop. Every order is delivered by courier to your address. If you cannot use courier delivery and insist on collecting, ask us before ordering: a handover at a central point in Brackenfell can be arranged only by prior agreement. 🌍 Customers outside South Africa

We do not currently ship internationally. You may supply a South African delivery address and arrange onward export, import, customs and last-mile delivery yourself.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Why is my Priority fee higher than the example in the table above?

Check the weight of your cart. Priority charges R56 on the whole order weight once the order is over 2 kg. The amount at checkout is the final figure.

When will my parcel arrive?

Add the processing time for your cart to the courier transit time for the method you chose, and allow for weekends and public holidays.

Can I change the shipping method after ordering?

Possibly, before the order has shipped. Contact us as soon as possible.
